Hi Doctor Nagler, I hope you are doing well!

Yesterday I got a cold with blocked nose. As a former tinnitus sufferer ( which means I have it but it is not ruining my life anymore ) I'm now worried that this cold could make my tinnitus worse or generating new noises.

At the moment what should I do to prevent any worsening? Thank you for all 😉

Sorry, but I really have no suggestions in regard to "outsmarting" tinnitus under such circumstances. Your tinnitus will do what it will do, which is probably nothing! And when your cold resolves - if your tinnitus has changed, it should settle back down again.

All the best -
