Hello Dr.Nagler. Been awhile since i've written. I'm now around 21 months in my tinnitus journey. I have been doing so much better lately. Probably a 3 on your scale. Its been a long hard journey, but with your help and guidance, i can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was wondering if i should worry about ever going back to square one. Like a relapse. And if i do, will i be able to habituate quicker?

Hills and valleys are the rule rather than the exception. Overall the hills tend to be less steep and the valleys less deep. And overall the trend tends toward a positive slope of improvement. Your experience in successfully scaling the hills is a great benefit as you navigate the inevitable valleys.

Hope this helps.
