Good evening,
My daughter was well one year back
She suddenly after watching a movie had tinnitus
Now since 4 months she had ear pain even with daily moderate noises and unable to carry out her work at college
She never goes out
Sits at home
Even loud voices cause her to have earpain headache
She feels suicidal
Is there any treatment for this or she has to live with it lifelong

Hello ushamadineni -

Thank you for your post.

I am so sorry to read of your daughter's struggles. She is very fortunate to have a mother who cares so deeply about her.

You ask:

It would be difficult for me to suggest a treatment path without knowing the cause of your daughter's symptoms. Have she seen a knowledgeable and experienced ENT specialist? What has the ENT specialist said in that regard?
