Hi!

I hope you’re keeping well.

Wanted to inquire if Salex sinus solution is reported as ototoxic?

Of concern I’m looking at the PEG 150 dispearate contained in it, is PEG ototoxic?

Inquiring because a few drops fell on a bubble gum I was having and I seem to have had a dip in hearing since.

Did wake up the next day with a more roaring tinnitus sound, but it has seemed to lessen the day after.

Also, I did have a level of hyperacusus the day I ate the gum, however it seemed more like when your Eustachian tube is clogged.

Warm regards

Thank you for your question.

To the best of my knowledge neither Salex sinus solution nor any of its ingredients is ototoxic.
